Casting

  • Include a listing of the character(s) that you will include with a brief description of each.: 
    • As of right now, I have two main characters:
      • Older Shreya: This character will find the time capsule and reminisce all the memories she made during high school. She will be the first to be shown after the studio's name appears. She plays a significant part, as these are her memories, and we are looking back into her life. 
      • Younger Shreya: This character will be the one we will primarily see as this character is living in the moment and who the audience will be spectating. She is significant as most clips will include her and all her items. 
    • There will be side characters, but they will added on later during the post-credit slide.

  • Post a photo of the person who will play this role/participate in the documentary and explain why this person was selected for the role.
    • Older Shreya: Molly Philip
      • Molly Philip is my grandmother, and she will be playing older Shreya. She was chosen because we are related, so we look mostly alike. I think she is the perfect person to play this part, as she can be serious and will get the job done in a timely manner. With her, I will be able to get her part done quickly. 
    • Younger Shreya: Sarah Idiculla
      • I am Sarah Idiculla, and I will be playing younger Shreya. The reason I will be playing younger Shreya is because all the items that I will be using are the ones I collected during high school, and since Shreya is Desi, and since I am Desi, I will have to play the part. Also, older and younger Shreya need to look remotely similar.
